MIDF WEBINAR – ESG & YOU: BEYOND INVESTING (21 June 2021)

Welcome to the first day of MIDF ESG Webinar, ESG & You – Beyond Investing. Starting with a welcome address by MIDF Group Managing Director, YBhg. Dato’ Charon Wardini Mokhzani set the tone followed by the first guest speaker, Mr. Ramesh Kana, Chairperson of UNGC for Malaysia and Brunei, sharing his insights on the ESG framework in Malaysia. This was then followed by a presentation by Puan Nurul Hasanah Ahamed, the Head of the Group Sustainability Division at FGV Holdings Berhad, on the development of ESG in her company. The webinar also had its first-panel discussion on the real-life practice of investing in ESG. To close off the first day, En. Azlan Azizuddin, the Head of Business Development at MIDF Amanah Asset Management Berhad, shared his insights into the domestic ESG Shariah funds.
